It's going better today but I keep hitting walls. I know exactly what I want to accomplish with this chapter, I have certain scenes all set in my mind, but they refuse to be written in order. It's so weird. I wrote one part, and I keep pushing it back to later in the chapter as I insert new sections. This is very important for development of the situation and it tells things that I feel should be known about the setting, and the characters...
But this is all starting to feel really ambitious for just one chapter. I'm getting frustrated... it's like putting together a puzzle and you keep finding pieces that aren't in the picture on the box! But they are all you have and you must deal with them before you move on or the pieces might get lost, and they seem like pretty cool pieces if you can make them work.
That was almost a rant. Almost-rant over... need to get work done before Karrin's husband comes home and scary movie night commences.
